RANGE – This basic switch kit has a range of 50-150 fee, depending on walls and barriers in the way. Before installing, we recommend testing the distance of the switch.

I was worried because the receiver was in a metal box with a metal light mounted to it but regardless of being surrounded by metal, the switch has been flawless now for over two years. The distance between the switch and the light fixture is approximately 8 feet. Great product. Recommending it to a friend which is what reminded me to give it a good review after two years.
